Recipe Review – Peach Cobbler-ish

Best Peach Cobbler Recipe Review

Peach Cobbler

I will admit it… I am addicted to the food section of Pinterest!  I run across some of the most delicious looking recipes ever and my “must try” list is enormously long.  One of the first recipes I tried was the “Best Peach Cobbler Ever” recipe and although it was outrageously delicious, I don’t know that I would classify it as a peach cobbler.

When I think of peach cobbler, I think of CRUST!  Sweet, juicy peaches and a thick creamy sauce that is to die for.  This recipe had all of this however I simply cannot classify it, in my opinion, as a cobbler.  Don’t get me wrong, this recipe is delicious and I highly recommend making it, I would just rename it.

Since the crust is made out of a cake mix, it is lighter and fluffier than a traditional peach cobbler crust and then with the addition of the cream cheese, it takes it to a whole other level.  I will definitely be making this one again.  It was gone in two days!  I think next time I will double the recipe just to make sure there is plenty to last, because with Zik, desserts disappear overnight!

A Quick and Easy Crowd Pleasing Dessert

I enjoy making at least one dessert a week, so most of the time, a simple dessert that is easy to put together is on the top of my list.  This peach deliciousness is superb and simple.  I prefer my ice cream on the side but pile it high if that is was you prefer!  This is definitely one that could be used in a pinch of time and no one would be the wiser as to the fact you didn’t spend hours baking.

So… try this recipe and click the link for the details!!  “The Best Peach Cobbler You’ve Ever Had” posted by Rachel… who also gets credit for the pretty picture I used for this blog post. Oh… and come back and let me know what YOU think it should be called.

I just wanted to make sure that I put in the correct amount of Pure Vanilla Extract does the recipe call for 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract or 2 tablespoons? Just want to make sure it was 2 tablespoons. Thanks and I can’t wait to eat the Peach Cobbler I know it will be delicious!
