My Recipe To Do List!
I love expanding my ever growing food repertoire and my recipe bookmark list is getting longer by the minute! I have managed delve into my endless list to choose dinner recipes that I want to try as soon as possible just because they look absolutely delicious, plus I love trying new things in the kitchen. One of my favorite things to do is learn a new recipe and change ingredients to better fit my palette. Not only is learning new recipes fun, but they can inspire you to create unique and creative dishes of your own.
I am of the opinion that every woman needs to have at least FIVE main courses she can whip out of her back pocket, that she knows by heart and can cook to perfection. If you are a real kitchen diva… go for twenty! I am not sure what my number is up to, but it is, at the least, over thirty. This would allow you number one, to not always make the same old thing and number two, to always be able to entertain and satisfy hungry guests! Being from the South, I am quite the host. When friends or family come over, I always try and ensure there is something good…eat, drink and be merry right?
Anyhow, here’s my current list of dinner recipes I must make immediately!
Cajun Chicken Alfredo
I am not a HUGE fan of Chicken Alfredo however when I stumbled across this recipe the Cajun element caught my eye. I love Cajun food. The spicy, bold flavors of Louisiana dishes have always been a favorite of mine! Jambalaya, Gumbo, Spicy Fried Alligator… YUM!
I am guessing that the delicious cajun seasoned chicken will combine with the alfredo sauce and make for a deliciously creamy sauce with some extra bite! Once I try it out, I will definitely be posting a recipe review.

Grilled Lemon Chicken Skewers
During the summer, one of my favorite things to do is grill. I know, grilling is supposed to be a “man’s” thing however being from Texas, grilling is in my blood. I LOVE to grill and encourage all women to get outside and cook over some nice, hot flames!
Now, combine my love of grilling with lemon chicken and you’ve got a winner in my book! These Lemon Chicken Skewers look fabulous and delicious. They would be perfect for a cook out as they look easy to serve and eat. Plus they look divinely tasty!
They would be great to serve with pita bread or with summery side dishes like pasta salads, fruit, etc…

I am a big fan of salmon. Not only is this fish good for you being rich in Omega 3 but it is absolutely delicious, so I always looking for new ways to cook it. I make salmon cakes, baked salmon, seared salmon…all scrumptious! When I found this recipe, I know immediately I wanted to try it!
Ginger, soy sauce… amazing! Just look at the picture, doesn’t it make your mouth water? This, spread over some fragrant rice would be AWESOME! I think I will be trying THIS recipe over the weekend!
